Date: Saturday February 7th, 2015
Time: 11:30pm-11:45pm (Registration) 11:45pm-12:45pm (Safety Session)
Location: Serra High School Gym, 5156 Santo RD. San Diego CA 92124

This clinic will be held indoors at Serra High School Gym, 5156 Santo RD. San Diego CA 92124. We have scheduled a Safety Training Clinic between the Big Al morning and afternoon sessions.  The Safety Training Clinic is MANDATORY, for every coach or manager in our District and must be attended once every three years. Each team in our District must have at least one coach or manager attend each year in order to be eligible to participate in District sponsored tournaments such as CBI, DDM and TOC. If you are attending a Big Al Clinic and the Safety Training Clinic you will have met all requirements for District Tournament participation eligibility in one day. The purpose of this clinic is to raise awareness for every coach and manager on how to prevent and treat injuries. The topics that will be discussed are simple first aid, recovering and returning to action from an injury, prevention of injuries and Little League Safety Rules. A sign in sheet will be passed around during the Safety Training Clinic. Be sure to sign the sheet, this will be the official verification of your attendance.

For the fourth year in a row, we will kick off the 2014 Fall Ball Season with Al Price (Big Al) & Scott Price; international trainers, authors & coaches. Big Al and Scott will be teaching player development to the Fall Ball players in District 33. Big Al and Scott will be instructing 2 groups of players ages 7 thru 9 and 9 thru 12.  These special clinics will take the place of Fall Ball games for week 1 for the Minors and Majors divisions.

These clinics are for Fall Ball teams only, not individual players. Compete in exciting skills competitions with teams and players from across your league. Step up to represent your team and qualify for individual and team awards in throwing, catching, fielding fly balls, fielding ground balls, base-running and sliding, plus compete for individual and team hustle awards. We will have 2 sessions, the first one will be for players ages 7, 8 and 9 years old.  The afternoon session will be for players ages 9, 10, 11 and 12 years old. These clinics will be held at the Chollas Lake Little League Junior Field located at 5860 College Grove Dr., San Diego, CA 92105 (across the street and down the hill from Chollas Lake Little League).  Please see the attached flyers for each age group for more details.
