11U Team Hits the Big Time

The Future of the Chicago Demons basketball program looks bright for years to come. His 11u Demons are quietly putting together some impressive tournament finishes this spring. The group of Johnny Roland (Luther Head's youngest brother), Erick Locke (10 yrs,son of former UIC star and current Evanston High School head coach, Bobby Locke), Glen Hefferman (Son of former Rich Central Coach, "Red" Hefferman), Langdon Neal III, Jibreel Jackson, Joshua Irving, and Kevin Wright, have posted an Elite Eight finish in the AAU state tournament, 1st place at the IBA, 3rd place at NAYS (Byron) 6th grade division, and the Final Four of the Midwest City Classic. 11u Demons Defeat Ferrari in the Elite 8 of Midwest Future Stars Showdown and Shootout in Ohio. The Chicago Demon 11u defeated Ferrari 52-38. They were lead by Joshua Irving (18 pts 5 asst), Erick Locke (14 pts), Johnny Roland (10 pts 10 rbs), Jibreel Jackson (8 pts 14 rbs), and Langdon Neal (8 steals). The victory put into the tournaments Final 4 when they lost to Team Tempo (Texas).

17U and 16U Teams to compete in King James Shooting Stars Classic in Akron, OH. 13U, 14U, and 15U Teams to compete in Chicago Elite Hoops Challenge at Joy of the Game Center and Mundelein HS. 12U & 11U practice schedule.

5th Grade team to participate in State AAU Tournament at Joy of the Game Center in Deerfield, Pool Play Saturday 8:00, 11:15, 2:15. Playoffs TBA on Sunday. 7th Grade team to play in NAYS-Elmhurst Tournament. All other teams follow practice schedule.
