Madi Schreyer goes deep for a solo home run in the 3rd inning to put the Lady Falcons up 1-0 and then drives in two with a sharp single to right center.  Buckling down in the pouring rain Madi was able to punch out the hot bats of Newport and hold off a bottom of the ninth rally with a slow roll double play by Emily to Alyssa.

Next game Monday at 6pm vs Garfield at home.

Woodinville visited cross town rivals Inglemoor yesterday and brought home 2 wins. Varsity led off in the first inning, smacking in 2 runs to give the Falcons a lead they wouldn't lose. Alex Boyd and Madi Schreyer worked together to put up 16Ks and each contributed 2run HR's to their 7-1 win. Emily Jackson and Alyssa O'Farrell tore it up, each going 3 for 4. JV won their battle 17-8, led by Rochelle Taicz's dominance at the plate- hitting for the cycle and snatching her first career homerun. Congratulations Rochelle and the rest of the Lady Falcons!

Varsity will visit Newport for a 4pm game this Friday.

Beautiful day in Gig Harbor brought the reigning 4A State Champion Woodinville Falcons against the reigning 6A State Champion North Medford Black Tornados.  It was a pitchers duel between two D1 bound hurlers in Madi Schreyer and Maryssa Becker.

It was 0-1 in the 4th when Tori Lettus got on base with a walk and Alyssa OFarrell moved her to third when Madi Schreyer drove a Maryssa Becker pitch into right center for a double scoring Tori.

Tied 1-1 after regulation, the Black Tornados were are able to pull off the squeeze play to bring in the go ahead run and with 2 outs a timely hit drove in another to put them up 3-1.

The Lady Falcons answered with only one run in the bottom of the 8th unable to capitalize and dropped a 2-3 loss in a hard fought battle.

At Inglemoor on Wednesday at 4pm
