News and Announcements

On a wonderful evening at Woodinville High School, the Lady Falcons came out for the final game of the season and to enjoy our Seniors one last time at home: Madi Schreyer, Alex Boyd, Emily Jackson and Alex Nelson.

Redmond came to play ball and put up a run in the top of the first on a couple of infield hits.  The Lady Falcons put two up in the bottom of the first with a lead-off double by Emily and then a nice RBI by Sara Taketa.  We put up a couple more with a 2 run in-the-park-touch-them-all by Nicole Shavlik using her speed to draw a couple of wild throws.  After 2 the girls were up 4-1.

Madi brought her A-Game and struck out 10 including the final batter for the cherry on the top in her last pitch on the mound at her home field.  What a legacy these seniors leave behind on that field.

KingCo playoffs on Monday at Inglemoor HS at 7pm.

Lady Falcons Stomp on Bothell 6-1

Posted by Rob OFarrell at May 6, 2013 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

On another beautiful night our Lady Falcons got up and going early in the top of the first with a 3 run home run by Alex Boyd.   Madi Schreyer was on all night punching out 10+.

Final regular season game tonight at 6pm.  Join us for Senior night vs Redmond.

Gorgeous evening for our annual 2013 Parents Night at Woodinville High School.  Madi Schreyer punched out 12 batters scattering 3 hits.  Kathryn, Alyssa and Emily were able to provide for timely RBI hits to drive in runs as Inglemoor reverted to intentionally walking Alex Boyd and Madi Schreyer 4 times in the game.  In the end even that desperate strategy proved futile.

Ballard visits next at WHS on Thursday @ 6pm.

Woodinville Too Much for Roosevelt

Posted by Rob OFarrell at Apr 25, 2013 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Always fun to head down to Lower Woodland park on a nice day and this time was to play Roosevelt.  Kathryn Hatlen pitched a great game giving up only one run in 5 innings as there was plenty of offense to back her up.  Bailey Hicks got into the action early by rattling off a 215 ft double off the wall in right center to score a couple of Lady Falcons and we were off and running.  Tori Lettus got not only her first home run to deep left center but followed it up with her second in nearly the same exact spot.  In the end it was too much for Roosevelt to handle and the Lady Falcons run-ruled their opponent again.

Woodinville Tops Eastlake 4-2

Posted by Rob OFarrell at Apr 22, 2013 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

In an uncharacteristically low offensive day, the Lady Falcons come away with a 4-2 victory at Eastlake last night getting all of their runs in the top of the first with 2 outs.  Madi Schreyer gets the team on the board with an RBI double followed by another by Alyssa OFarrell to score Madi.   After Alex Boyd walked, Kathryn Hatlen drove a 2 RBI triple to the wall to put the Lady Falcons up 4-0 and what looked to be another run-away win with Madi on the mound.  However, as the game progressed, Woodinville was unable to capitalize with runners in scoring position and errors by Eastlake to make it an uncomfortable situation in the bottom of the 7th only up by two runs.   However, Madi reared back and threw gas at them in the final inning to secure the win.
