Games

  • Scheduled games should end by the 2nd week in November (dependent upon inclement weather)

Schedules

· Any schedule conflict or change must go through your Commissioner.

· With the exception of inclement weather, reschedules between coaches must be submitted 7 days in advance of the change and have the approval of both coaches, the Commissioner, and the Scheduler, who MUST approve changes to make sure we have teams and referees where we have scheduled games.

· NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE ON THE DSA WEBSITE WITHOUT THE SCHEDULER’S APPROVAL.

General Information

· Uniforms - The uniform sizes are the size the parents ordered.  They will be numbered by size and player to match your roster.  Make sure the jersey NUMBERS and roster NUMBERS match.

· Parents MUST sign the Registration Forms.

· Each Team must have an Assistant Coach and/or Team Manager.  No Assistant/Manager paperwork will be accepted after 6:00PM on Monday, September 19th.  For emergency situations, Temporary Badges will be available.

· Contact your players immediately following this meeting.  Make sure parents and players know your name and contact information.

· Make sure all parents know WHEN AND WHERE YOU WILL BE PRACTICING.  If you make changes, in your practice, let your players know.  And, if you practice at the Soccer Fields, let them know WHICH FIELD.  Goals should be placed by Monday, August 15th.

· DSA RESTROOMS will be opened Mondays thru Thursdays, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM as soon as goals are placed.

· FIELD CONDITIONS - Check the website, www.eteamz.com/denton or call the DSA Hot Line 940-268-3939 for current Field Conditions .  Exceptions will be posted by 8 AM on Saturdays and Weekdays by 4:30 PM.  During Soccer Season, DSA determines Field Conditions.

        Please go by what’s on the website, not the city recording.  (Usually they are the same, but not always).

· Things you must have with you at all times:  Coaches badges, registration forms, official roster.  No Badge,  No Coaching.

· Every player must play at least 50% of the time. From NTSSA Rules and Bylaws3.14.3 Law III - Number of Players and Substitution Each recreational player, when present at a game, shall be required to play the minimum of 50% of the time, unless the player’s time has been reduced for medical or disciplinary reasons, in which case the coach must notify the player, and the opposing coach prior to the beginning of the game that the minimum time has been reduced (non-attendance at practice and non-payment of fees may be cause for disciplinary action).

· Cover new players/parents on DSA Zero Tolerance Policy

· Daylight Savings Time - 2 AM Sunday, November 6th...Clocks BACK 1 hour.
