News and Announcements
Hockey is back!
TMHA practices will resume next week beginning on Wednesday, February 17th, 2020. Our scheduler is working on an updated schedule now which will be release as soon as possible. Please be patient with us.
TMHA will be meeting with the other Associations early next week to discuss a return to league games. Schumacher Minor Hockey has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of their season (as posted on their site) which will leave voids in the current division make up in our league. The league will need to be re-worked next week.
E-mails will be going out to coaches and managers this weekend which we will need replies to ASAP. Coaches will be contacting parents about their intentions to return to play for an additional 4 week game cycle and possibly beyond which we will need numbers heading into our league meetings next week. Please endeavour to reply to your e-mails promptly so we have the information we need. If you have not heard from your coaches by Sunday, please reach out to them.
Further information will be relayed here and on our website. Stay tuned. If you have any questions please contact our admin at admin@timminsminorhockey.com
Welcome back everyone!
TMHA continues to monitor the stay at home order issued by the Provincial Government and yesterday’s announcement to extend the order. There are several factors to consider in regards to return to play ranging from additional ice costs, available arenas, the other Associations in our league’s interest in returning and where our PHU region will be based on the provincial framework’s color coded system.
For now, TMHA is committed to continue hockey once we come out of the stay at home order. We will provide everyone with an update once we have more information to share.
Should you have any questions please reach out to us at admin@timminsminorhockey.com
We hope to see everyone soon.
Joint notice from local hockey associations
Please be advised of the following notice from the local QUAD Hockey Associations. Effective tomorrow December 22, all practices, games and off ice hockey activities are cancelled until further notice.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from everyone at TMHA

Thank you to all of our volunteers for all of the time you spend ensuring our kids get on the ice playing the game they love and keeping everyone safe. We would also like to thank the rink attendants for their ongoing hard work ensuring a safe hockey environment for everyone. To our players we hope you continue to play the game outdoors over the holidays and enjoy time with your family. Stay safe.

8 TMHA players crack Timmins Majors roster this season
TMHA would like to congratulate the following North Stars alumni on making the Timmins AAA Majors Roster this season! The success of these athletes is largely in part to the many amazing volunteer coaches, trainers and managers they have encountered throughout their minor hockey career and their individual hard work and support from their family. TMHA is very proud of your accomplishments and we wish you all the very best this season.
