NJ D15 Tournament Updates 7/18
Senior League Baseball - FINALS SET
Glassboro v. West Deptford - 7/17 @ 7 P.M., 7/18 @ 4 P.M. (IF GAME AT 7 P.M.)
10/11 Baseball - FINALS SET
If necessary game 7/18 SWLL @ West Deptford 5 p.m.
Little League Baseball FINAL - West Deptford defeated East Greenwich 7 to 5 to win the District 15 title on 7/11. West Deptford advances to the Section 4 Tournament starting 7/17 in Monroe Township.
9/10 Baseball FINAL - East Greenwich defeated Logan 11-0 to claim the District 15 Banner on 7/11. East Greenwich moves on the Section 4 Tournament starting on 7/19 in South Vineland.
9/10 Softball FINAL - SWLL defeated Harrison 6-3 to claim the District 15 title. Swedesboro/Woolwich advances to the Section 4 Tournament starting on 7/19 in Gloucester.
Updates from NJ Section 4 Tournaments
Intermediate (50/70) Baseball
Glassboro Little League is hosting the Section 4 Tournament for Intermediate (50/70) Baseball starting on 7/3. In the deciding Section 4 Championship Game, District 15 Champion, West Deptford defeated South Vineland 14-4 to win the Section 4 Banner. West Deptford advances to the State Tournament starting 7/15 at Winslow Township Little League. West Deptford will play Princeton LL at 5:30 on 7/15.
Junior League Softball
Mantua Little League is hosting the Section 4 Tournament for Junior League Softball starting on 7/5. District 15 Champion Woodbury dropped a 7 to 3 decision to Northfield in the Section 4 Final. Northfield advances to the State Tournament at Par/Troy West starting on 7/14.
Little League Softball
Harrison Township Little League is hosting the Section 4 Tournament for Little League Softball starting on 7/6. District 15 Champion Harrison Twp. defeated Hammonton 12-0 to advance to the Section 4 Final. Harrison will play Waterford on 7/12 at 5 p.m. for the Section 4 title. Waterford must win two games to win the Section while Harrison need only win one game to claim the crown.
Senior League Softball @ Elmer LL
District 15 Champion Pitman dropped its opening game to Monroe LL 10-5 on 7/5. Pitman rebounded in the elimination bracket with a win over Lower Cape May by a score of 12 - 2 on 7/8. Pitman dropped its elimination game against Penns Grove 11-7 on 7/8 and has concluded its season.
Please support our District 15 Leagues that are hosting Section Tournaments this week -- it is a very time consuming and labor intensive effort. If you can help out in any way, the local leagues would certainly appreciate it.
