Attention Girls Softball Players !!

The Forest Hills Girls Softball League is looking for additional players for the Spring 2002 season starting in mid-April. The registration period is still open for new and returning players. First Session:
  • October 26, 2007 (07:00PM to 9:00PM)
  • October 27, 2007 (09:00AM to 1:00PM) Registration will be accepted at our Little League headquarters, 66-01 Fleet Street (corner of Selfridge and Groton Streets) one block from Yellowstone Boulevard and next to the Fleet Street Ballfields. Youngsters between the ages of 5 and 12 for baseball, between 9 and 16 for girls' softball and between 13 and 17 for Pony League are eligible. Registrants must appear in person with a parent or legal guardian who must present the registrant's birth certificate or any other official proof of age. Registration fee for tee-ball and baseball is $150, girls' softball is $100 and Pony League baseball is $185 for the in-house league (additional travel team fee to be determined). A $10 reduction for each additional sibling will be honored. Payment of the registration fee MUST be made at registration and may be in cash or check. Due to limited facilities of playing fields, registrants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. SIGN UP NOW, DO NOT WAIT! For further information phone 718-544-2296.

    The youngsters, parents and coaches of the Forest Hills Little League would like to sincerely thank the Community Relations group at JP Morgan Chase & Co. for their generous contribution of NY Mets tickets and ongoing support of JP Morgan Chase Baseball is for Kids. JP Morgan Chase Baseball is for Kids - For the fifth consecutive season, thousands of youngsters in the tri-state area who would otherwise not have the chance to see a ballgame at Shea Stadium will enjoy that special treat due to the generosity of JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) and their Baseball is for Kids ticket program. JPMC has purchased 175,000 tickets this season and 425,000 over the past four years. The two entities announced their continuing partnership at the ballpark. Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined Mets president Fred Wilpon, Administration for Children's Services (ACS) Commissioner William Bell, JPMorgan Chase Executive VP Frederick Hill and Mets program spokesman Mo Vaughn in welcoming 40 kids to Shea to kick off "Baseball is for Kids."image
