Dear Little League® Volunteers, Families, and Friends:

Watching the MLB Postseason makes things feel a little bit normal. October is always an exciting time for baseball fans, and for our Little League® family, it’s when we take a deep breath to enjoy watching the game being played at its highest level before we turn our sights on a new Little League season.

By now, we’re all getting tired of saying that things are different. We’ve been navigating this pandemic for more than 200 days, and we’re all ready to focus on the future and brighter, healthier times.

Thanks to our partners at T-Mobile, we have something that we can look forward to. As you may have seen while following the MLB Postseason action, T-Mobile has launched a new campaign to support our T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant with the hopes of raising over one million dollars that will support families facing economic challenges and help ease the financial burden of registering for their local Little League program.

T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant

Some of MLB’s biggest stars have already joined the call with players Didi Gregorius, Charlie Blackmon, Luke Voit, and others, joining T-Mobile’s Beyond the Bases, which has helped kickstart the contributions to the Call Up Grant to the tune of $40,000. And, for every home run during the postseason, another $5,000 goes to this great cause.

Now it’s your time to help. All you have to do is text “LittleLeague” to 313131. For every text received, T-Mobile will donate $1 — up to an additional $1 million — to support grant recipients in the texters’ local community. You can text 20 times per phone number. So, please text, and tell your friends and family to text as well. You can also share this on your own social media accounts. I encourage you all to visit to learn more about this great program and how you can support these efforts. If you find yourself or someone you know in need of the Call Up Grant support, families will be able to apply for this grant beginning in December.

You’ll see and hear more about this campaign throughout the MLB Postseason. And, we hope that you’re not only enjoying some exciting fall baseball, but also stepping up to help thousands of kids who can benefit from the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant next year.

I hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and happy.

As always, we thank you for your support of Little League Baseball and Softball.

Exciting things are happening with the Warren County Youth Baseball Softball Association (WCYBSA)!
Stayed tuned for some BIG announcements. In the meantime, do you love baseball and softball? Would you enjoy volunteering with a dedicated group of individuals to make baseball and softball better for the children of Warren County? The Warren County Youth Baseball Softball Association is looking for motivated individuals willing and able to attend monthly meetings, attend quarterly work-bees, manage divisions, and join committees to potentially join our board of directors. If you are interested in helping to make a positive impact on the youth of Warren County, please send an email to for more information.
The Warren County Youth Baseball Softball Association, partnered with Little League International, strives to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

With the governor’s announcement that Warren and some surrounding counties would be entering the green phase on Friday, May 29th, the WCYBSA board of directors held a vote on whether to continue with a 2020 baseball softball season.
The outcome of the vote was to not go forward with a 2020 season out of concern for the safety of our players, coaches, volunteers, and families. It was a difficult decision that was thoroughly debated, but in the end, the unknowns of what the green phase entails were too great of a risk to take.
Another factor contributing to the cancellation of our season was the cancellation of various other large events within the county.
Those who requested refunds will be processed in the coming days and the remainder of the registrations will be rolled over to the 2021 season.
We wish everyone the best. Just because there isn’t a season doesn’t mean there isn’t work to do. Players and families, please get outside and play together, work on drills posted through LittleLeague.Org, volunteer to assist with field maintenance in your community, have fun and prepare for the future season.
Best regards,
Jeremy M. Wyman
