We hope everyone is enjoying their Summer so far!
I am now planning for the Fall London/Kiwanis Takacs Soccer Program.
This is for the Soccer League, Grades 1st thru 8th grades. Games start Sunday 9/10/23 and finish Sunday 10/29/23 with all games on Sundays with varying times. 2 practices weekly during the week. Practice times will vary on days and times based on the coaches availability. We can always use coaches to coach teams, please let me know if you are interested in helping coach your childs team! This is a recreation soccer league, not a select program, all kids are to get equal playing time.
Registrations are now open. Registration deadline for the fall season is 8/5/23 so that teams can be organized earlier this year.
The current plan is to start practices the week of August 21st providing registrations do not pile in after school starts.
The season start date is Sunday 9/10/23 and final game day is Sunday 10/29/23.
There are typically 2 practices during the week and games on Sundays. Practice days and times are entirely up to the coaches since it is their time and schedules to work around.
We will also be looking for parents to help with coaching their childs team. A few Parents working together is always better with co-coaching.
Please remember that this is a recreational program designed to allow kids to learn and play soccer in a fun, safe and learning environment. I use high school players for referees. It is expected for parents and spectators to support their child/children and the referees decisions in a positive and supportive manner. If a parent has a problem with referees calls, I have no problem putting them out there to ref the games!
Please fill out the registration form and mail it to me or drop it off at one of the upcoming registrations dates to be announced.
Fees for soccer are $30 per player and $20 for each additional player in the same immediate family.
- If you know of a family that has children who want to play and cannot afford the fees, please have them reach out to me, I will not turn any child away from playing in the Soccer League.**

2023 CHALLENGER SUMMER SOCCER CAMP
2023 Challenger Soccer Camp registration final day is Saturday 5/20/23
This years Soccer Camp is the week of June 19th thru June 23rd
Challenger soccer camp is fast approaching and we’re extremely excited to see the kids out at the fields having a blast with our International coaches! As a reminder, the early bird pricing and free jersey deadline for London Area Soccer will end this Saturday, 05/20. Personal skill development, character development, and cultural education*
6 hours per day • Monday to Friday inclusive • Sessions are typically split into 2 x blocks • Supervised lunch around 12-12.45pm for rest and recovery (packed lunch required) Camp Starts at 9am for the camp and Tiny Tykes is 8-8:45am.
The full day program builds on the Half Day experience on our Challenger Core camps, and has a perfect balance of those just for fun activities, larger sided games for more tactical knowledge, and individual skill elements such as freestyle!
Emphasis is placed upon improving individual dribbling, passing, control, shooting, with specific focus on personal skill development, character development, and cultural education.
Includes access to a virtual coaching world courtesy of Challenger Virtual, motivating players to practice more at home before, during and after their program on the field!
