The Belleville Rockies won the 2020 Mon Clair Playoffs by defeating the Millstadt Green Machine 13-11 in nine innings in the Championship game at Valmeyer on August 16. Belleville’s Mike Breyman was named Playoff MVP, going 8 for 11 in their three games including two singles and the game winning solo home run leading off the top of the ninth inning. The Rockies defeated Valmeyer 5-1 in the first round and then the 12-0 #1 seed Cape Girardeau Capahas 4-1 in the second round on Saturday. Belleville’s Mike Krumm pitched all seven innings against Valmeyer and the final two innings in relief against Millstadt to earn two of the Rockies’ three playoff wins. Millstadt defeated Fairview Heights 4-0 in the first round and then the St. Louis Printers 11-1 in the second round to reach the championship game. Millstadt catcher Austin Francis hit three home runs for the Green Machine including two in the championship game to lead their playoff offense.

2020
PLAY BALL!! At the Mon Clair Meeting held in Millstadt on the night of June 29 the eight managers unanimously voted to start the 2020 14 game regular season on July 4. A COVID-19 Waiver must be signed, MLB guidelines will be followed and a temperature check each game day will be required for the safety of all

2019
Congratulations to the Millstadt Green Machine who won their second Playoff Championship in five years and overall defeating the Belleville Rockies in two straight games. Tony Kossina of Millstadt was named MVP of the Playoffs, going 7 for 16 (.438) with a .500 on base percentage, scoring 5 runs, 5 RBI, 3 stolen bases and played flawlessly at shortstop.

Congratulations to the St. Louis Spikes who won their fourth Valmeyer Mid-Summer Classic Championship beating the Waterloo Millers 15-8. Lee Cruz of the Spikes was named tournament MVP, going 8 for 13 with 10 RBI and four home runs including a solo and grand slam in the championship game.

2019
As of our December 10, 2018 league meeting, the St. Louis Latinos have been added to the Mon-Clair Baseball League as the tenth team for the 2019 Season. The Latinos will be placed in the St. Clair Division with four other teams also based in Missouri, the St.Louis Spikes, St. Louis Printers, Charleston Riverdogs and Cape Girardeau Capahas.  The Monroe Division will now consist of five Illinois based teams with Fairview Heights joining Belleville, Millstadt, Valmeyer and Waterloo. All ten teams will play a 26 game regular season schedule from May 19 through July 27. The Valmeyer Mid-Summer Classic will be held on July 4, 6 and 7. The All Star game will take place on July 17 and the Playoffs will be held from August 3-11. Should be another great season of amateur baseball in the mid west!

Congratulations to the Belleville Rockies who won the 2018 Playoff Championship Series 2 games to none, beating the St. Louis Printers twice in extra innings. Mike Breyman of Belleville hit a two run home run in the 11th inning to break up a scoreless game one and was named the MVP of the playoffs. Breyman went 8 for 16 (.500) with 4 home runs and 11 RBI in their 4 playoff games.

The St. Clair Division All Stars defeated the Monroe Division All Stars 7 - 4 on Wednesday July 18 at Fairview Heights.  Jake Friederich from Fairview Heights of the winning team was named the game MVP based on his two singles, two runs scored and RBI.
