Travel fees and refunds
Travel Fees
Travel fees vary based on the program (Castleford or BYSC).
Your travel fee includes league fees, insurance, field fees, referee fees, balls and equipment, etc., as well as the cost of professional training. All teams will be coached by professional trainers throughout the season. The only incremental costs would be for winter training (if your child participates) and tournaments.
Travel fees are established each season after the club has a understanding of various costs such as league fees, and insurance, and after securing professional trainers for the year. The fees are communicated each year via email, and are visible during registration on the club registration site (available via "Registration and WYSL Links" when registration is open).
Travel refund policy:
Due to the competitive nature of travel teams, the need to properly size teams for quantity and skill levels, and many other costs and implications, league fees are non-refundable unless your child does not make a team. Once your child is assigned to a team, if you or your child changes their mind about playing soccer, you will receive a refund of your training fees if you advise your coach of the decision 24 hrs after accepting your place. Otherwise none of your fees will be refunded.
For both travel and in-house, discounts are available for families with three or more players in the program, and hardship scholarships are also available (full and partial). Please contact us for more information.
New York Soccer Club (click here for link)
The New York Soccer Club is an elite level soccer academy that is affiliated with BYSC.
Founded by local Bedford residents Mark Heffernan (who has been involved in youth soccer in Bedford for many years) and Claudio Reyna, one of the most gifted and accomplished American soccer players of all time, this program offers training and development to the most talented players in the area for programs beginning at the u-12 level.

3) The ability of our in-house and travel programs to tap into curriculums and training session developed by leading coaches and instructors with no additional cost
4) The prospect of a highly competitive (regionally and nationally) High School program on a consistent and ongoing basis, which will raise the esteem of students and the community, and increase visibility and scholarship opportunities with leading colleges and universities.
