Thursday July 2 from 5:00 —7:00 " DRIVE BY" the storage shed in the parking Lot at Edgar to receive your schedules,scorebooks, SPN rulebooks, Covid19 rules and balls.
We will be abiding by social distancing rules; so no need to get out of your vehicle to receive your packages with all your info to play in 2020. ALL TEAMS MUST ATTEND!!
Effective immediately CASPA is not accepting any more teams for the Tuesday Thursday Edgar division.The only divisions available to enter are the Wednesday only rec and the Monday Wednesday Edgar division.
There were not enough entries in the other divisions to have them function this year.
Thank you for all the entries and thank you to the teams that were able to switch divisions at the last minute.
Just a friendly reminder that the regulations are changing daily due to the ongoing fear of another breakout of the pandemic Covid-19. It is a recommendation from Alberta Health Services and Slo-Pitch National that we have the “no tag,no close play” rule in effect for the 2020 ball season. This is what we are going to follow.

Central Alberta Slo-pitch Association annual general meeting is to be held Monday June 29 7:00 pm at the shelter at Edgar Athletic Park so we can social distance as best we can.
Several topics to be featured including financial report and nominations of board of directors. There are a couple of positions available, so if you are interested in a board position please come to the meeting.
Revised 2020 summer league registration is now open until June 24,2020..see summer league registration form.

Specific guidelines and Alberta Health rules pertaining to covid19 will follow, just need to see number of teams wanting to play this year.
We are on a very short timeline to get registration done,schedule made,approval by the City of Red Deer and get all the rules in place to start playing ball.
Complete payment must be made by etransfer to firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure registration.
Teams already registered do not need to register again and your non required fees will be refunded to reflect reduced charges.
A schedule,Covid rule sheet and ball pickup will be announced here once details are finalized.All team captains will be notified as well.
All changes and updates will be posted here as well as the fb page as they become available.
