Victoria Fenninger

Victoria Fenninger is Program Director and Head Coach. She is an ACA certified coach who has been actively coaching for 20 years. She is very involved with Canadian Masters racing and competes in races across Canada. Victoria has placed in the top 10 for 4 years at the Peak to Valley race at Whistler Blackcomb, BC. Victoria is coaching members of both the Ontario and Canadian Masters Alpine Team. In February 2015 Victoria had the unique opportunity to coach the Canadian Team at the WWMG (World Winter Masters Games). Victoria coaches a traveling Ski Cross Team based out of Sir Sam’s. She is a director on the Canadian Masters Alpine Committee and designs the uniforms for the national team.

Liisa Savijarvi

Olympian – Canadian Champion – World Cup Champion

Liisa was introduced to skiing at 14 months of age and lived her dreams to become one of Canada’s Best. As a graduate of Alpine Ontario programs, Liisa was a versatile athlete, the only Canadian female racer to train and compete in downhill, super G and giant slalom. She proudly represented Canada internationally at Olympics, consecutive World Championships and full World Cup seasons from 1982 to 1987. Among her career highlights is a World Cup victory in Furano, JPN (1986), a top 10 result at the Olympics in Sarajevo(1984) and numerous international podium results. In 1987, Liisa qualified for the 1988 Olympics in Calgary and was crowned ‘Canadian Downhill Champion’. At the final World Cup stop of the season, Liisa suffered a high speed crash resulting in serious multiple injuries forcing her to retire from ski racing – but not the sport! In 1989 she started the ‘Ski Escape’ ski improvement programs, sharing her passion and joy for the sport. Proudly she is a member of ‘Canada’s Honour Roll of Skiing’, a level 3 CSCF coach, a level 2 CSIA.

Reece Ralph

Reece is a freshly minted CSCF Entry Level coach. He has spent his whole skiing career racing and training under the head coach Victoria Fenninger. In the 2015/16 season Reece won the AOA/SO provincial SX series and placed on the podium twice at the Canadian Jr. SX Championships at Mt. St. Marie, Quebec. Reece is currently racing on the provincial Ski Cross circuit and aspires to land a spot on the national team. When he is not training he is assistant coaching the U8 to U14 Juvi race program.
