On Saturday, October 29th, Positive Coaching Alliance hosted its annual PCA scholarship banquet at River Oaks Country Club. The banquet was the culmination of a rigorous nomination process with over 500 applicants, which was narrowed down to 20 outstanding and deserving student-athletes. These 20 athletes define what it means to be “Triple Impact Competitors,” who honor the game, develop personal mastery, and make their teammates better.

The Village School had 2 recipients of this year’s Triple Impact Competitor Scholarship: Amber P and Charlotte S. These two student-athletes exemplify the principles of PCA.They have stood out and been recognized by their coaches and peers. They are leaders in their programs, the community, and their school. Congratulations to Amber and Charlotte for all of your hard work, commitment to your school and teammates, and leadership qualities that has left an everlasting impact on the people around you.

The banquet also recognized last year’s National Double-Goal Coach Award winner, Scott Mastro. Coach Mastro was able to make a positive impact on his runners by developing a culture for his program that not only developed them athletically, but fostered an environment that developed their character and compassion for each other.

Congratulations to Amber, Charlotte, and Coach Mastro for their well-deserved achievement and recognition. The Village School is proud of the impact you continue to make to better yourself and those around you.
