HELLO ASTRO PARENTS, WELL WE GOT OUR FIRST GAME AND WIN UNDER OUR BELTS, AND HOPEFULLY ALL THE FIRST GAMES JITTERS. THEY ARE JUST A COUPLE OF REMINDER THAT I NEED TO TALK WITH YOU ABOUT. FIRST WEAR RED SLEEVES AND SOCKS TONIGHT. hA hA 2ND- I NEED TO HAVE ALL PICTURE FORMS IN BY TONIGHT OR NO LATER THAN THURSDAY NIGHT. I HAVE TO RECORD ALL THE INFO TO A TALLY SHEET, AND I DON'T WANT TO DO THAT ON SATURDAY MORNING. OUR PICTURES ARE AT 10:40 ON SATURDAY IF WE CAN TRY TO GET THERE ABOUT 5 OR 10 MINUTES BEFORE THAT SO WE WILL BE READY AT 10:40. 3RD- AFTER ALL GAMES WE NEED A COUPLE OF DADS TO RAKE THE FIELDS IT TAKES JUST A FEW MINUTES TO DO. THE RAKES ARE IN THE DUGOUTS, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT AFTER THE 6:00 GAMES. THIS IS VERY EASY. 4TH- THIS IS A GENTLE REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS, SIBLINGS, ETC. AFTER ALL GAMES KEN AND THE COACHES HAVE A MEETING WITH THE BOYS. THIS MEETING IS FOR THEM ONLY TO DISCUSS THE UPS AND THE DOWNS OF THE GAME. THIS IS THEIR TIME AS A TEAM TO BEABLE TO DO THIS. THE COACHES NEED TO HAVE THE TOTAL ATTENTION OF THE BOYS. PLEASE RESPECT THAT TIME, AND WAIT UNTIL THE MEETING IS OVER TO SPEAK WITH YOUR SON. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING. 2nd Game on Wednesday, 3/24 at 8:00pm, be there by 7:00pm to hit in the batting cages and get loose. Please review the attachment on duties for each game. We got reprimanded by Dave Carney for not providing any people to rake the field between games. We need at least 2 people at the end of each game to do this. It doesn't take long and should be done immediately when the game is over. This is most important after the 6:00pm game to get it ready for the next game at 8:00pm. Please volunteer to do this whether your name is officially on the list or not. Remember we are HOME tonight, wear RED socks and sleeves.
