2009 USFA "A" World Series 5th Place

The Manatee Twisters finished in 5th place in the 2009 USFA "A" World Series in Panama City. The team lost a heartbreaker to the eventual champions, Fear Factor from Alabama 3-2 after leading 2-0 most of the game. The team finished the week with a 7-2-1 mark with impressive wins over the USFA Texas State Champion Mesquite Angels and over Extreme Elite from Illinois.
Congratulations to the Manatee Twisters for winning the 2009 NSA "A" State Championship. After suffering a mild setback in the winners bracket finals, the team stormed back through winning the losers bracket finals and then defeating the winners bracket champion twice to claim the title.
