The PDT Scorpions are a Men's Hockey team that competes at the Crystal Ice House. Our namesake comes from our sponsor PDT and the Rock band the Scorpions from Hannover, Germany. Many of our players met at the Barrington Ice Arena, PDT or various hockey clinics. Since our inception into the league we have competed in the championship game seven times....Our quest for the championship is finally complete.
On September 3,2008 we finally captured the championship with an exciting 5-3 finish over the Moose!
April 18,2010- Scorpions prevail over Moose 6-5 to capture first Winter League C1 Championship in 10 years. See Championship Game Summary for details.
Sept 7, 2017- It was a long time coming but Scorpions dominated the Tailgators for our 3rd (or 4th) league championship! The final was 6-1 as we executed our game plan of covering the points in our defensive zone and neutral zone brilliantly. We had 14 skaters so we brought alot of energy and really wore down the Tailgators who had only two lines. Brian has a great game and gave up a deflection goal that prevented a sure shutout! He soaked up most of the shots and our D were there to clean up if there was a rare rebound. Johnny had two goals and both Johnny and Kevin had glove side roofers that beat Grapper.

The 13th Annual Turkey Burn is scheduled for Friday Nov 28th at 8:30AM-10:30AM.
After the skate we will go back to my house for some breakfast and beverages.

The 11th annual Turkey Burn will be held at the Barrington Ice Arena Friday 11/26 at 10AM.
This is a great time for kids and dads to skate together and for the dads to sweat off those extra lbs from the night before.
I hope you can join us!
Join us for the 8th Annual Turkey "Burn" game Friday November 28th at 8:00AM. We will alternate shifts between the young kids and the older kids (13+)/adults.
This is a great way to get some exercise after Thanksgiving Day!
The 8th annual Turkey Burn has been set for November 28th 8:00-9:30AM @ Barrington. Feel free to bring your kids as long as they have full equipment.
