The CIAC has recognized the following players for their outstanding seasons:

The following Trumbull Eagles were recognized for their outstanding seasons by the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference:

The season’s final Player of the Week goes to senior goaltender, Gabe Deist. Gabe made an incredible 44 saves in Trumbull’s upset win over Chesire in the first round of the CIAC State Tournament. The #3 Rams were all over the #14 Eagles but Deist weathered the storm and allowed his teammates to gain momentum. Trumbull went on to win 4-1 as they advanced to the quarterfinals.

Jr, DJ Kimberly scored the game winning goal in Trumbull’s 4-3 win over Staples in the first round of the Douglas J Robinson Tournament which featured Trumbull, Stamford, Wilton and Staples. The left is a dependable penalty killer, tireless worker who adds energy to the Eagles line up.

Sr, Giancarlo Montanaro earns his second POW scoring a hat-trick in Trumbull’s 5-4 overtime loss to Stamford/Westhill. The shifty winger is currently tied for team lead in goals with eleven.
