Empire Football League Press Release March 14, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (877) 624-4485 e-mail: empirefoot@aol.com website: www.empire-football-league.com The Empire Football League held a meeting recently to revise its 2007 season schedule due the departure of the TriState Bulldogs and Pittsfield Aces from the EFL. With the Broome County Dragons on a one year leave of absence, this now results in 8 active teams for the 2007 season. The EFL season starts July 14th, has bye September 1st and ends September 22nd. The EFL Playoff schedule remains unchanged for September 29th and October 6th and will conclude with the EFL Championship Game on October 13th. While schedule re-visions due to team departures are always an inconvenience, the EFL has historically managed this kind of event quite successfully for almost 40 years.
