Jonny Gomes Returns to the Show and hits another Big League Home Run!

He's b-a-a-a-ck! The Tampa Bay Devil Rays haven't been the same since they sent Jonny back to AAA Durham. Today they recalled him to pump some life into a struggling team. Jonny hit .304 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs during his brief stint in Tampa Bay last month and didn't let his return to Durham affect his attitude. He's hitting .331 and has 14 homers and 45 RBIs with the Durham Bulls this season. Arrrr-oooooooo! Just to show Lou Piniella he plans to stick around this time, he hit a homerun as the Devil Ray's designated hitter tonight! Way to stick with it Jonny! Good luck... we'll be watching!
