2001 District 9 & 10 Baseball Tournament

Posted by Don Parsons at Jul 4, 2001 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

The objective of the 9-10 Year Old Division Tournament is to provide nine and ten year old players the opportunity to participate in a baseball tournament at the District and State levels at the conclusion of the regular season. This double elimination tournament culminates in a playoff between the winners of District One, Concord American, and District Two for the State playoff held at Manchester South starting July 28.

9&10 Tournament rules in combination with the Major League regular season rules apply without use of any local rules. A coin toss will determine choice of home/away team or dugouts. There are a few instances in the loser's bracket where teams have to play back to back games. This was unavoidable due to the increased number of teams from 18 last year to 22 this year.
