HILLCREST TAKES A BITE OUT OF BULLDOGS!

The RAMS defeated Berea 14 -7 in the JL Mann Jamboree Saturday night. The Bulldoges scored early, but Hillcrest showed determination and teamwork to come back and win. Both scores came on runs by Chris Merrill (#5) and PAT's by Anthony Willard. Defense was led by Deon McDowell with two interceptions. Keep up the good work, Rams. We're behind you all the way!
On Thursday night, the Rams proved to the spectators AND themselves that they can play as a team and put points on the board. Coach Hallman and his staff were pleased with the improvements and look forward to the jamboree Saturday night.
This website has the complete scrimmage/jamboree schedule as well as a complete game schedule for all three teams. We hope you find it useful! Also, on the home page, in the left-hand column, you will find driving directions to away games. Please let us know if you find an error (we have tried to ensure everything is correct, but may have missed something) or if there is something else you would like to have posted on the website. Once games start, we will post pictures and game results.
JV and Varsity football players and all cheerleaders will have their pictures taken on Monday, July 30. Football players will stay at school after the morning practice; lunch will be provided. If you want to order pictures, please send the completed order envelope and check with your player on Monday morning. IF YOUR PLAYER DID NOT BRING HOME A PICTURE ENVELOPE, email Dennis Bowen at dwbowen@charter.net and we will email you a copy.

Parents -- With the first practice upon us, please make sure that you send the following items with your child so he/she will be able to start practice on July 27:
-- Completed physical form (dated after April 1, 2007)
-- Completed parent permission form (found at the top of the physical form)
-- Completed consent-to-treat form
-- Completed emergency information form
(all of these forms can be obtained by going to "Links" on this website
then clicking on HHS Athletics Home Page)
-- Check made payable to Hillcrest High School in the amount of $32 for
required sports insurance
-- Check made payable to Hillcrest Rams Athletic Booster Club in the amount
of $25
(Coach Hallman will be sending a letter home about these last two items;
please ask your child for it)
Also, please be sure your player starts drinking fluids and is well hydrated
by next Friday.
