West Monroe played a great game considering what they had to over come. This game almost lasted 3 hours
for 2 teams that did not pass the ball.
The officials did what they could to keep this game close, but the Rebels survived the opening round!
The Rebels had over 300 yard of offense, 271 on the ground and 98 by air. Jim Bennett scored on a long run
to get the Rebels going. Xavier Woods had a 54 yard reception from Michael Mims for a TD.
Steven Jones also had a long run for a TD.
The DeFense scored on a interception by Dylan Burdeaux! Dylan also had a 63 yard punt! averaged 48 yards a punt.
Zach Alexander had a 38 yard FG to completed the scoring. The Rebels did have 2 scores called back!

West Monroe played a great game tonight! The offense had over 500 yards of offense and scored 27 points
in the first qt. The reserves came in early and got alot of playing time. The Rebels had 2 TD's passing from Mims and Belton.
The receptions were made by Zach Ainsworth for 20 yards and Jim Bennett for 11 yards. Segrick Williams had over 100 yards rushing.
The DeFense played lights out and had several interceptions. They held Natichitoches Central to negative rushing yards.

West Monroe wins on the road to make them 3-0 in District play! Michael Mims and Stephen Jones played
some tonight, but Kolby Lee took alot of snaps.
Michael Mims had 2 TD's rushing, Jim Bennett, Segrick Williams and Lushawn Ware had 1 TD.
The Rebels played 4 different QB's on the night and had over 300 yards rushing.
The DeFense recorded a shutout for the first time this year!

West Monroe totally dominated this game! The offense and DeFense played as a complete unit.
Michael Mims had 110 yards rushing, 1 TD and passed for another TD to Logan Murry.
Steven Jones had 136 yards rushing and 3 TD's. No turnovers tonight!
The DeFense shut Ouachita down except for the long passes to Cameron Sims who had 8 receptions for
163 yards.

West Monroe started out slow and held a 7-0 lead at the end of one. The 2nd qt was a different story!
West Monroe score 35 unanswered points and led at the half 42-0.
Steven Jones scored from 10 yards to make it 6-0 and Zach Alexander's PAT made it 7-0 with about 4 and
half minutes left in the 1st qt.
With about 8 minutes to go in the 2nd qt. Segrick Williams scored on a5 yard run. PAT made it 14-0.
Segrick scored again from 2 yards out making in 21-0 after the PAT.
Then Anthony Yruegas recovered a fumble and raced almost 70 yards for a TD. 28-0 after the PAT.
Michael Mims scored on a 7 yard run with about 4 minutes to go in the half making it 35-0 after the
PAT.
With about a minute left in the half Michael Mims scored on a 16 yard run making it 42-0 after
the PAT.
The 2nd half Cade Stone raced 64 yards for a TD and John David Moses PAT mad it 49-0.
Pineville's lone score came on a punt return making it 49-7.
Parker Davidson scored in the 4th from 5 yards out and the Moses kick made the final 56-7.
Michael Mims was 7 for 10 passing an 85 yards.
Tayloy Hayes had 2 reception for 29 yards, Tanner Noel had 4 receptions for 44 yards and Zach Ainsworth had 1
reception for 12 yards.
DeFense played lights out! they only gave up 4 first downs, held Pineville to 45 yards rushing,
and 12 yards passing.
