In a note to Coach and Team Leader Steve Warger, Lupe said, " thanks to all the Jets coaches for all they have done fo Bobby so that he can display his qualities as a young adult...thank you Steve for all you do..." Re-seeding of all three practice areas will commence immediately. Thanks to Veteran Field Committee members Warger, Powell, Sharp, White and Bates along with newcomer Tom Lowe. Lowe Landscaping provided heavy equipment and personnel. Special thanks to program benefactors Miller's Nursery in Parkville, where Corey and Justin are Jet alumns, and to Jet Alumn Dad Ronnie Miller of the PHSD. Another great example of how even after leaving the program, players and families continue to give back to the organization. Thanks also to Hill Brothers Construction out of Weston who brought the equip for the "Big Dig" Jets Athletes are the hardest working - most focused youth athletes around and they deserve great facilities in which to learn the game.

Many families have enjoyed their children's playing days in the organization. In 2002, 5/6 Super Bowl MVP Jimmy Summers is the 2nd Summers boy to take part. QB Danny Manning is the 3rd Manning boy to compete as a Jet. Outstanding 7/8 Linebacker Pat Cashmore's brother Willie excelled at St.Pius X after his Jets days and Pat will follow him there in 2003.
The Jets Program commands a lot of commitment from everyone and the chance to savor the success is especially enjoyable for the programs great parents. Saturday was one of the most special days in Club History.
