Steve joined the Club in 1981 when his brother was player. Since that time, Coach Warger's win percentage is one of the best in NSYFL history. Not only does he continue to teach the game to kids 11 and 12, but also coordinates all of the other levels and the many background duties needed to run an organization of 84 players and cheerleaders. Steve joined the organization when they were known as the "Antioch" Jets and proceeded to brainstorm and fundraise for moves to Riverside and Plaza. On August 25, 2013 the 5th/6th Grade Jets won the 2013 NYSSO Kick Off Classic held annually in Basehor KS. On Saturday the Jets played the Bonner Springs Braves, on Sunday they played the Topeka Thunderbirds. Although all teams played well the Jets came out on top winning 20-0 against the Braves and 16-0 versus the Thunderbirds. Congrats Jets!!!
