Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Basketball

Junior Guard Kylee Edwards has been invited to the IBCA Top 100 workout. The Junior Guard avg. a team high 17.5 points, 2.2 assist, and 7.1 rebounds. She joined the 1,000 point club this season as well. Kylee is a verbal commit in Softball to Mississippi State University. Congrats!

Both guys deserved to share it this year for all of their hard work and dedication to Shelbyville Basketball. Both hold over 3.8 GPA’s in the classroom.

The Shelby News Announced its Girls Basketball All-County Team. Shelbyville Junior Guard Kylee Edwards was featured on the first team. Senior Madison Phares was featured on the second team. Edwards and Phares helped lead the charge to an 11-11 regular season record with a 4-3 HHC record. Edwards averaged a team high 17.2 points per game along with 7.1 rebounds, 2.2 assist, and 2.3 steals per game. Phares produced 8.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds, and a team high 1.4 blocks per game. She shot 39% from the floor and set the standard for career blocks.
