DEA Luckily / Unluckily Ties Seacoast

The game started with Seacoast taking it to DEA in all aspects of the match. They were all over us.  Within five minutes they were awarded a soft PK.  Mr. Lucas Hill (I am the man ) stepped up and saved the PK along with four (4) other point blank shots in the first half.  I love that guy.  DEA was taking a beating all throughout the first half.  But the boys came back and started to play one pass at a time.  DEA would have a few opportunities in the half but nothing was doing. First half score 0-0.  Second half DEA showed up with more energy.  The boys passed the ball around and got many more chances at goal.  We were unable to find the net in the end.   Overall good job defending by the boys in the back.  Danny -Jonesy-Flo-Tino. You guys are huge back there. Lucas-you make this team UNBEATABLE.  Lets get some next week.

DEA Ties Peabody 4 to 4

Posted by Dale Dubois at Oct 19, 2009 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
How do you say... we sucked big moose?
DEA was out played in the first as Peabody was up 1 nil at half.
DEA could not connect passes or hold the ball without long balling.  We by passed the mid all day long and made our forwards over extend themselves.
With 25 mins to go, Peabody a 1 wanker spit on Jonesy and was ejected.  You would think this would be the time that DEA would take the game over and play their game.  No, not at all.  DEA literally played O-LAY D and allowed Peabody to score 3 goals.  Yup 3 goals with 10 men on the field. DEA allowed them, no gave them all the time and space in the universe to play their game and score 3 goals. After DEA was down 4 to 1, the boys pulled their collective heads out of their anus and played with some purpose.  Tim the beast got a great ball from E and placed it in with ease.  Jonesy then played a cleaver little ball that Jerold headed in. Scott then took over and netted two of his own to level the game with 3 mins to go.  great work Scott. That is how the game would end.  We were poor and played less than good soccer today.  With Hollis, LSC and Seacoast to go we need to be better as a team and stop arguing with the refs and getting cards.
My two cants...Danny, Powder and Scott thanks for keeping us in it today.   We did not help you at all today. We will do better.

DEA ties Ipswich with 11 but wins 3rd half

By Jerold White:

The game started with the DEA bench being light and the Ipswich bench having 2 teams.
Play went back and forth with both team doing their best to control the ball on a really bad field.  DEA would strike first with a Scott Gagnon goal in the first half.  Ipswich would try their best with a great shot the was lined for the top 90.  Lucas ( I can lay the pimp hand down) Hill was up for the task and getting his finger tips to it and awarding the visitors a corner which would be cleared by DEA.  Score at the half was DEA 1 Ipswich 0.  Ipswich came strong in the second half with strong attacking ball but the defense of DEA continued to hold on.  Lucas would make a few more save and Tino would clear a header off the line to keep the boys fighting.  The Ipswich team would battle harder and a scrappy play in the box got Ipswich would tie it all up.  DEA would have 3 breakaways in this game but was not in the cards to get it in.
Good work boys...

Hollis Drops DEA, 5-2

Posted by Dale Dubois at Oct 6, 2009 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

by Jon Cloutier

For the second week in a row, DEA was unable to come home with any points losing to Hollis at home. DEA would have several 2nd half chances to level the score before Hollis would break the game open.

Hollis would be sporting some finesse right off the opening kick. With 4-6 line-up, featuring 6 central midfielders, Hollis would ping the ball around the pitch quite nicely. After about 15 minutes of possession, Scott Gagnon would force a turnover outside the Hollis eighteen and carry towards goal. As a DEA forward would head for the far post, Gagnon would let a bullet go that would find it's way to the upper 90. 1-0, DEA. Hollis would bounce back. They would get right back into their groove moving the ball around the pitch, keeping DEA on the defense. Midway through Hollis would earn a P.K. after an errant hand ball.  Jamie Williams would thankfully step up for Hollis and ring one off the crossbar and another off the post.  Many serves into the box would be caught or cleared by DEA fill in goalie Tim Lounsebury and DEA would tr.y  to keep the lead.  After a scramble near the DEA eighteen, the ball would find it's way to a Hollis foot and soon the back of the net.  With score now level, Hollis would continue their attack.  This time, the ball played to Hollis forward Josh Grenier and he would send a nice shot that would bank in off the far post.  The half would end with Hollis up 2-1.

Down by a goal, DEA would put the pressure on in the 2nd half and Hollis would have a harder time possessing as fatigue set in.  About 15 minute in, New Guy would out muscle Hollis midfielder Matt Sprague, and fire a cross towards the Hollis 6.  Willie Mungere would meet and send it home to tie the game at 2-2.  About half way through, Hollis would play a short throw in DEA territory.  After some one-touch passes, Christian Gagnon would dribble across the eighteen and Ray would step into it driving the ball into the back off the net.  Nice shot Ray.  DEA would try to fight back, finding Willie inside the Hollis eighteen several times but were unable to finish the deal.  With numbers pushed forward, Hollis would come up with two late goals.  The first off the head of Sprague on a nice cross from Brendan Gilmartin, and the Second off the speed and hustle from Hollis forward and 50K runner Alex.

DEA drops to the middle of the pack and is now tied with Hollis at 2-2-1.  Let's look to see the DEA rebound next week when they take on Ipswich @Home @ 10:00 a.m.

DEA gets out played by Seacoast 2-0

Stratham, NH by Jerold White

The game started with Seacoast taking it to DEA with no let down.  The attacks were quick and organized and DEA was not prepared and Lucas saw 3 quick shots in the first 5 mins of Play.  Lucas was up to the task and handled it all with no issues.  Seacoast continued to pound all sides of the DEA defense but the boys did not break.  With 10 mins to go, Seacoast took a free kick 35 yards out.  The ball skipped and took a Seacoast hop over Flo's foot and found side netting.

Play went back an forth but with Seacoast clearly in control.  Barry kept it close with his constant dangerous crosses.  Willie was on the end of one with a great header just wide.  Scott took a great left footer that found upper 90 wood.  Ryan would have a few shots but both went wide.

Seacoast put in the second goal on a defensive slip and Brett put it away.  DEA got 2 yellows ( guess who) and Jonesy.  Seacoast got a red with 20 mins to go but DEA was unable to put in a goal.

Next game at home VS. Hollis who will be hungry after loosing 4 to 0 today.
