Eagles Knock Off Undefeated East Meadow 4-2!

Valley Stream Central 4, East Meadow 2: Joe Miller struck out 11 and walked three in a two-hitter for Valley Stream Central (4-3 Conference A-II). Carlos Sanchez and Rob Inzerillo both hit clutch Home Runs for Central. Inzerillo also added a double. Mike Harris also added another RBI. The Eagles are now 4-3 and East Meadow is now 6-1. Game 2 of this series is Tuesday at East Meadow High School.

Eagles Heading Down South!

The Valley Stream Central Eagles will be heading to Florida to play 10 games against hard competition. The Eagles will be leaving Mon the 17th and arriving home the 22nd. Please come and support the Eagles at their last home game before heading to Florida, on Saturday the 15th vs Long Beach.

Central Wins Another Close One vs Long Beach

Valley Stream Central 4, Long Beach 3 Joe Miller doubled and scored on an overthrow to give Valley Stream Central 4-3 lead in the bottom of the sixth. Miller also pitched a complete game to get the win. The Eagles will play again tomorrow at Long Beach.

Eagles Win A Close One 2-1

Valley Stream Central 2, Port Wasington 1 Jeff Andersen's two-run single in the bottom of the fourth was the difference in the game for Valley Stream Central. Steve Maroshick threw 5 innings to get his 1st win of the year. Dan Kehoe pitched two innings of scoreless baseball for the save.

Eagles open the 06 Season with a BANG! 12-1

Valley Stream Central 12, Port Washington 1 Matt Caputo was 3-for-6 with a Homerun and four RBIs for Valley Stream Central in Conference AA-II. Phil Ynacay was 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Joe Miller threw a two-hitter and struck out nine.
