Winning Pitcher: Inzerillo Losing Pitcher: Prestifilippo Valley Stream Central 2, Baldwin 1: Steve Maroshick's two-run single drove in Jeff Andersen Andy Labeck in the second for Valley Stream Central (6-8 Conference AA-II). Baldwin is 9-5.

Eagles Win 13-3 vs East Rockaway

Valley Stream Central 13, East Rockaway 3: Nick Castiello was 3-for-4 with three runs to lead Valley Stream Central (6-4) over East Rockaway (2-6) in non-league. Mike Tripodi started the game on the mound for the Eagles. Bobby Breuer relieved Tripodi and Breuer ends up getting the win. Rick Andersen pitched a scoreless final inning. The bats were hot for Central with a 17-hit performance. The Eagles will play Herricks High School on Saturday at 3pm, with the home run derby at 10am for Spring Sports Weekend.

Eagles Hand East Meadow Another Loss 9-6

Valley Stream Central 9, East Meadow 6: Joe Miller hit a two-homer in the top of the sixth to give Valley Stream Central (5-3 Conference AA II) an 8-6 advantage. Carlos Sanchez pitched 6 innings to get the win and Danny Kehoe threw the last inning for the save. Sanchez also hit his second home run in 2 days. Mike Harris went 3-for-4 with a run scored as Valley Stream Central defeated East Meadow (6-2) for the second straight time. The Final game of this series will be Thursday at Firemans field. Come support the Eagles.
