STEELERS ARE BACK

AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF LEAVING THIS SITE MOSTLY INACTIVE, THE STEELERS ARE REACTIVATING AND UPDATING OUR ORIGINAL INTERNET SITE.   wE'LL UPDATE AND UPGRADE EVERYTHING OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS AND RESTOCK THE ROSTER WITH CURRENT PLAYERS AND TEAM INFO.   WE'RE STEPPING BACK A LITTLE TO STEP FORWARD.  PLEASE BE PATIENT WHILE WE REWORK THIS SITE AND ALSO REACTIVATE THE STEELERS OTHER SITE, WHICH WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON.

STEELERS RETURN TO E-TEAMZ

DINOSAUR BARBEQUE -The Tastiest Website Around

     The Steelers opened the Gridiron Classic tournament with a convincing 22-0 victory over the Brooklyn Bulldawgs.  Rich Fazio closed a first quarter drive with 6 yard TD run and scored the 2 point conversion.  Anthony Rice scored on a 5 yard run in the third quarter.  Jeff Deloatch caught a 55 yard TD pass from Brian Novell in the fourth quarter and had a 72 yard kickoff return.

      Defensively, the Steelers limited the Bulldawgs to five first downs and no pass completions.   The front seven totalled 10 sacks.  Kevin Thompson had two more interceptions and Kindu Green had a fumble recovery.
