Hi everyone,
Just received notification that the time of our first game of the tournament has been changed from 11:30 am to 10:30 am. I will try and push our lunch start time back an hour as well to 12:30. Could everyone please let me know if you are coming to the lunch and how many people will be there in total (including each family’s player). The restaurant would like to know for staffing purposes.
As well, I am going to be cancelling the remaining rooms under my name at the Best Western Chemainus for Friday March 17 this week, so if anyone wants one of these rooms, please contact me.

Just two points of clarification for this weekend. You have probably already received the reminder for the original practice that was scheduled. Please ignore this as it is now the controlled scrimmage that Yudy messaged about yesterday.
As well, there is no game Sunday. We were trying to get an exhibition game, but it didn’t pan out.

Hi everyone,
I have posted the first 4 games of the tournament in Duncan. I have held four rooms under my name at the Best Western Chemanius for Friday March 17, as we finish fairly late. Our next game is not until 2:30pm on the 18th.The rooms are King Suites, as this was all they had left, and they are $183 per night. Can you please let me know if you are planning to stay up there, as I will cancel any rooms not claimed, as they are reserved under my credit card currently.
We plan to do a team lunch after the first game on the 17th in Duncan, at Just Jakes. I have reservations for 2:30 pm. Players meals will be covered by leftover team funds.
Finally, coach Cam has opened a new nightclub in town, Infiniti,targeting the over 30 demographic. I’m pretty sure that most of us parents fit this demographic, and he has suggested having a parents’ night for our group.
I am proposing March 10 or 11 as possible dates. This might be playoff weekend (cross your fingers), but WE don’t have to play and Yudy assures me he can coach even after a night at the club, so let me know if these dates will work.
Please also note that we have picked up a new practice this Saturday Feb 18 at 3;15 pm.

Hi everyone,
For those that missed their individual photos (4 of you, I think), the photographer will be at Oak Bay Rec at 8 pm Monday December 5 for a shoot of the Midget Girls Team. Room was left in the team photo for Jack Sandor, Alex and Aliya, so hopefully you can all make it so he can add you in. Please wear your dark socks.

I will be posting the rest of the league schedule for the year, as well as our Christmas tournament schedule, so you are about to be bombarded by notifications! One league game will not yet match up with the schedule on the VIAHA website as a team requested a change in order to go to a tournament.

Hi everyone,
We had a last minute change of tournament as JDF told us they were full just last week. We are now in the Kerry Park tournament Dec 27-29, 2016. All games are at Kerry Park arena and the schedule should be out in the next week or so.
As well, photographer Gordon Lee will be at practice this Friday November 25, to take individual and group photos. He will be there at the start of practice.
I have sent out changes to our practice times over the next few weeks. Please check carefully as there are a lot of changes.
