Hello All,
The end of the Presidio League season is upon us. Although we felt short of finishing in 1st, I am still very pleased and proud with our boys performance this season. Despite finishing 2nd in the Presidio League we have no reason to feel down. Our boys kept us on the edge of our seats, put our competitors on notice and made themselves known as a legitimate contender for the Presidio League title.
This BU13 White gave us more than one highlight this year and in the end ensured that Barcelona would have to win their remaining games to ensure the championship. The 2008 season has marked a turning point for this team. It will be the year that this team came of age in their bracket and became a legitimate threat to win each and every week.
For many of us the season will be remembered as the year our boys made memories for us there number 1 fan and gave us a reason to cheer while giving fellow competitors like Albion and Barcelona a reason to keep checking their rear view mirror.
Not to be cliche or sad or whatever, but anybody out there shooting for something or trying for something, you can’t lose if you give it 100 percent. If you give it 100 percent, you win no matter what. One of the toughest things to do is to just keep your head up, do the best you can and take what you get, that is why you should all be looking forward to the tournaments to come as well as the 2009 season, regardless of who coaches the team. And while we may feel a little down for a few days this week after coming up a bit short in the points, My BU13 White had a 2008 Presidio League season that will be one we can all be proud of for years to come.
What follows is what our team is scheduled to participate upon the completion of this weeks league game:
San Diego Fall Classic
Play Dates: Nov. 28 thru 30
Cost: $25 per player
Presidio Cup all teams will start play the first weekend and may play the 2nd weekend based on entries and advancement to Semi’s and Finals. Play Dates: 12/6, 12/7, 12/13, 12/14
Cost: $25 per player

Hello Everyone,
Just an FYI. Practice hours return to our normal 1 1/2 schedule. We will start at 5pm and finish at 6:30pm. Please have your kids at the park on time. Thanks.

We have been informed by the CV Parks & Recreation department that the CV Community Park will be closed today due to the rain. So no practice schedule for today Tuesday. Enjoy the evening and don’t forget to vote. God and weather permitting, see you Thursday.
