The Regina Silver are pleased to announce the addition of Drew Kocur to our Staff as Associate Coach Player Development. Drew brings knowledge and leadership and four years of experience at the Junior level to the Foxes. Drew played his minor hockey in Regina and went on to play for the Saskatoon Blazers Midget AAA, and the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Drew then joined the Silver Foxes playing for almost four years, having brief stint with the Mountain View Colts Junior B of the Heritage Junior Hockey while attending school in Alberta. Drew is the longest serving Captain of the Silver Foxes and is the all-time leading scorer in current Regina Silver Fox history with 150 points in 141 games.

Silver Foxes sign Isaac Sandomirsky, Isaac re- joins the Foxes from the Notre Dame Argos Mid AA.

Silver Foxes sign Michael Boudnikov, Michael joins the Foxes from the Regina Capitals Mid AA.

Silver Foxes sign Lane Knapp, Lane joins the Foxes from the Lumsden/Bethune Lions Mid AA.

Silver Foxes sign Grayson Stevenson, Grayson joins the Foxes from the Moose Jaw Warriors Mid AA.

Silver Foxes sign Daniel Fiske, Daniel joins the Foxes from the Melville Millionaires Mid AA.

Silver Foxes acquire the playing right to Jarred Hicks from the Traveland RV Storm. This completes the January 10, 2017 trade of Josh Giblett and Wyatt Bayliss to the Traveland RV Storm. Jarred is currently with the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

Regina Silver Fox Awards Night was held on Saturday May 6th, 2017. This years recipients were:
Brent Lewis Silver Fox MVP – Jarvis Gelowitz, Leading Scorer – Jarvis Gelowitz, Top Defenseman – Reed Whitrow, Rookie of the Year – Dyson Nordwick Chan, Most Sportsmanlike Player – Dimitri Kourles, Coaches Awards- Andrew Baker, Noah Kozack, Kayne Pasquet, Silver Fox Award – Chris Belanger, Alumni Awards – Chris Belanger, Konrad Proszak.
