Congratulations to Isabelle Moryl she is having a great 2017 season with Suburban Council Ballston Spa High School. She has worked hard and developed into a very successful multi- position player on both the infield and outfield. Belle’s outstanding effort has also earned her the number 2 spot in the batting order.

Scotia’s Mayette chalks up 13 strikeouts

Kelly Mayette pitched a three-hitter with 13 strikeouts, and Scotia-Glenville beat Gloversville 7-0 in a Foothills Council game Wednesday.
Mayette was among three multi-hit Tartans with a double and single. Grace Purvis had two singles and two RBI, and Laura Meade also collected two singles.

Sophomore Kelly Mayette pitched a no-hitter and knocked in all of Scotia-Glenville’s runs in a 4-0 Foothills Council softball win at Amsterdam Wednesday.
Mayette struck out 18 and walked two, and hit two-run singles in the third and seventh innings.
Lauren Zeglen had two doubles for the Tartans (5-1, 6-1).

AMSTERDAM — Megan Lamont connected for a triple and a single and scored three runs to lead Amsterdam to an 11-4 victory over Broadalbin-Perth in Foothills Council softball action Thursday at Shuttleworth Park.
Nicole DeRose also tripled and singled and scored a run, while Emma Patrei had a triple and two runs scored for the Lady Rams.
Madison Lanza, Gianna Quatrini, Karly Power and Morgan Durinick had two singles apiece.
Danielle Winney led Brodalbin-Perth with two singles and a run scored.
