Hi Team,

Great practice tonight. It was fun to get back to playing after taking the summer off.

I’m glad everyone found us at Central Middle School. That seemed to work out good, so we’ll continue to practice there. Tuesday’s & Thursday’s from 5:45 – 6:30.

I had a couple of questions tonight about ball size – at the U8 level we are still playing with a size 3 ball. Next year, when they move up to U9, we’ll switch to a size 4 ball.

I see everyone had shin guards on in practice tonight. Thank you! That is one of the rules – everyone must have shin guards on to play – even in practice.

One note on jewelry – no jewelry is allowed during the games or practices for safety reasons, except for medical or religious reasons. Please let me know if you have any questions about that.

Hi Team,

We will have our first practice on Thursday night this week.

I would like to try holding practices behind Central Middle School in Hartford. We’ll see how it goes.

Practice time will be 45 minutes. We’ll shoot for 5:45 to 6:30pm.

Hi again HT Eagles,

The fall season is almost upon us already! I hope you’ve all had a good summer break and are ready for another year of soccer.

Parker, Chase, Emily, Anthony, Caleb, & Daniel are all returning this year. Welcome back!

Jacob and Kyla are new to our team this year. I’m looking forward to meeting them.

Ethan won’t be playing with us this year – he decided to take the year off.

Practice will be starting soon – probably the week before Labor Day. I’ll get details out soon, and I’ll update the schedule on the Team Pages site soon as well.

Quick Reminder: Please keep on working on your juggling. See if you can do five juggles before we start practice again – it will help a lot!

Great job today team! We played two very good games, and I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

Some things to work on over the summer:

Please practice juggling as often as you can oaver the summer. It would make a huge difference if everyone could juggle the ball 5 times. Right now everyone can do 2 times, so work on getting that up to 5.

Remember registration ends in late June, and they won’t be allowing late registrations this year – so if you want to play next year, be sure to get your registration in.

Also, thanks to coach David for helping this year. He was pretty soft spoken but helped a lot with nets and things.

The season was a lot of fun. I hope you all have a great summer, and I hope to see you back for the Fall season.

Greg Job Eagles!

Getting the tie today means we finished the regular season with 3 wins, 2 losses and 2 ties. Great job!

Now it is on to the KMSL Tournament. Up first is a rematch against the Hustisford team that we tied earlier this spring. The second team will be against a Jackson team that we haven’t played yet.

Tournaments are usually fun, and the Richfield club works hard to put on a nice tournament.

Practice will be on Wednesday night like usual. I will not be there, but Chase & Parker’s dad Chuck will be coaching the practice. (Thanks Chuck!)
