Swede Women’s Soccer Off and Running with ‘09 Recruiting Class
Coach Steve Moore’s Swede Women’s Soccer team hasn’t wasted any time in getting started on the team’s 2009 recruiting class, having already signed 2 players.
Lindsey Pfenninger of Arvada, Colorado and Shannon SIngleton of N. Las Vegas, Nevada each signed letters of intent this summer to join the Swedes in the Fall of 2009.
Pfenninger will come to Bethany having played her freshman and sophomore years at Ralston Valley HS, as well as having played club soccer most recently with Colorado Edge. She has played primarily as a sweeper, but has also seen a good share of time recently as an outside back. "I’ve been more and more impressed with Lindsey each time I’ve seen her play," states Coach Moore. "I think every time I’ve seen her play from the first time I saw her, to her recruit visit, to her club tournament this summer, she’s gotten better and better…which makes me very excited to see where she’ll be when she shows up to camp next August. We’ll be graduating 4 starting defenders over the next 2 years, so bringing in players of Lindsey’s ability now is going to be imperative to our continued success defensively." Pfenninger is the daughter of Brad and Kathy Pfenninger, and will join her sister Ashley, who’s currently a sophomore, here at Bethany. She plans on majoring in Criminal Justice.

EDGE U17 Girls Black

Welcome to our team website! Although we can access the EDGE website, we are not able to communicate amongst our team there. This site provides a place where we can access and communicate with the entire team without having to enter each email address. Once you add a comment, news, score, etc. an email will be generated to everyone on the roster. For most, I added just the parents. However, the players can be added as well if they have their own email address. When you access the website you will need to select ‘My Teams’ from the menu across the top. You will not see any information until you do this one important step. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me or call and I will do what I can to help!
