Please be reminded that our Annual William Reynolds Christmas Tournament will be held this Friday December 2nd – 4th for our Novice and Atom Teams only.

Novice, Atom Coaches, Players and Parents – The Tournament Schedule is now Posted in the Documents Section on your Home Page of your division Team Page. You can download and print it directly off your team page.

Reminder to all Novice and Atom Coaches to collect $20.00 from every player on your team playing in the tournament for their entry fee for the tournament.

Last Year the tournament produced Parkdale Championship Teams in each division, let’s see if we can do it 2 years in a row!

To All Parkdale Flames Community Members and Coaches,

We have a date for our Speak Out Clinic to be held Sunday October 23rd at 4pm in the Nixon Room of McCormick Arena. The course is put on by Instructors provided from the GTHL and usually lasts about 3 hours in duration. The cost is $35.00. For all coaches or parents interested in taking this course, please visit us in the Flames Office or provide your name to any Board Member to asist us in pre-registeing you for the course.

Remember, this course is mandatory if you want to be a coach on the bench. If you have not taken this course and you plan on coaching this year, please sign up ASAP by providing your name to the Flames Office.

To All Parkdale Flames,

Some of you have been asking about Select Try-Outs. This 2011-2012 season we are planing on fielding Six (6) Select Teams. Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam, Midget Jr. and Midget Sr. Depending on the numbers at these try-outs, Select Coaches may look at fielding a minor or major team within these age categories mentioned and this will be determined based on tryout numbers.

MIDGET SR – 10:00PM ON THE LARGE ICE

Friday September 23, 2011

NOVICE – 7:15PM ON THE SMALL ICE
ATOM – 6PM ON THE LARGE ICE
PEEWEE – 7PM ON THE LARGE ICE

Saturday September 24, 2011

BANTAM – 2:00PM ON THE LARGE ICE

Sunday September 25, 2011

MIDGET JR – 3:00PM ON THE LARGE ICE

It’s up to the coaches for each team to decide on how many tryouts they will hold. There is a fee of $5 per tryout. Keep in mind once the try-outs are completed, these ice times listed above become the regular practice times for each Select Team.

REMINDER THERE WILL BE A COACHES MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST IN THE NIXON ROOM TO RECEIVE YOUR HOUSE LEAGUE TEAMS.

Players will be called after Wednesday by their coaches to inform them which team they are on and date and time of their first game.
