Congratulations girls you did an outstanding job and made all us parents and coaches so proud!
What a great run!

All Stars,

We have accomplished two out three goals we have set as a team. Goal No1 – Win the District 14 Championship – Check, Goal No. 2 – Win the Sectional Championship – Check, Goal No. 3 – WIN THE STATE TOURNAMENT. I have attached the coach’s packet for the tournament this weekend. It probably gives too much information, but please read it as there are several pertinent pieces of information that you will need. (i.e no coolers)

Schedule for Practice this week

Tuesday – 7:00, Pitchers/Catchers at 6:30
Wednesday – 7:00, Pitchers/Catchers at 6:30
Thursday – 7:00, Pitchers/Catchers at 6:30

Schedule for Friday (Please coordinate with Stephanie if there are work conflicts and carpool requirements)

12:30 – Meet as team for lunch in Orlando – Stephanie will follow up on location later this week
1:30 – 2:30 – Drive to Lakeland together
2:30 – 3:30 – Check into hotel
3:30 – 5:00 – Head to field for practice
5:30 – 6:30 – Team Dinner
6:30 – 7:00 – Back to hotel to change into uniform
7:00 – 7:15 – Drive to field for Warm ups
8:30 – GAME TIME

Reminders for Game Week

1. Tuesday is last day for swimming
2. Last night was the last night for sleepovers.

SCOUT TEAM – For those future MLB scouts in the group, please take a look at the game schedule. We will need to scout teams in Pool A and Pool B.

All Stars,

I am very excited about the opportunity we have this weekend! We have talked to the girls about preparation, but have not discussed it too much with the parents. So here goes……..

1. No sleepovers until after the tournament.
2. No swimming until after the tournament.

Please keep talking to the girls about teamwork and leadership. Here is the schedule for the next two days.

THURSDAY (One day until game day) – Hitting practice at Windermere 6:00 to 7:00. Please make sure the girls begin to hydrate themselves for the weekend.

FRIDAY (Game day)

1. We have a late game, so have the girls sleep in. If they are early risers, have them take a nap or rest around 3:00.
2. Hydrate during the day.
3. The day should be a relaxing day to prepare for the game.
4. Eat dinner between 5:00 and 6:00.
5. BE AT THE FIELD AT 6:45 PM
6. GAMETIME – 8:00 PM

We will talk about Saturday and Sunday after the game on Friday.
