No recent activity How to Prep for & What to Expect of Practices.
I will gladly try to answer most of your questions in advance about what to expect. What to bring/wear... -Undershirts ie. T shirt or compression are optional -Shorts...basketball or gym shorts (dark color preferred)..no denim or cargo shorts -Shoes & socks...basketball, tennis , or running shoes needed. Comfortable - Sept 17th (new date) is skills camp for 2 hrs & then coaches will draft (select players) times posted on site -Practices are Mondays or Wednesdays at 530p-7p or 7p-8:30p (younger players practice in early slots for sure). -Sept 24th is first games and season schedule/times will be posted on the site on the night of the 17th once we have created teams. -Water bottle (marked) necessary for practices & games. If you forget we have available water or gatorade at concession stand. -Please show up to practice 10 mins before scheduled start time. We recommend jumping rope to warm-up prior to practice. You must provide your own jump rope. A practice will breakdown as follows: 5 mins League Talk, 10 mins Warm-up Drills, 15 mins Skills Drills, 60 mins Plays/Position Instruction & Scrimmage Plays. (Water Breaks will be included) Jerseys are distributed initially on Game Day the first week and are yours to take home afterwards. Plus, more importantly you are also responsible to bring each Saturday for game day. Please do not lose this Jersey, replacements are hard to come by as the Orlando Magic prints/supplies just the exact amount of Jerseys with number of players. So we really don't have extras hanging around to replace. In case of an emergency, we may be able to get a replacement but it would require a cost of replacement fee to the Orlando Magic. So please hang on to them. -DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN BASKETBALL'S. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM. WE HAVE LEAGUE PROVIDED BALLS THAT ARE BOTH SIZED ACCORDING TO AGE GROUP AND INDOOR SPECIFIC QUALITY.
