This Saturday December 3rd is the first day.
Training will begin at 9:30am therefore please plan to arrive a little bit early to allow time to arrange your lift ticket or season pass and get ready. Canyon will open the ticket window at 9:00am.
Our meeting room is located at the end of the hall straight past the ticket window. This is where the athletes will get ready, store their belongings, have snacks, lunch and breaks. It is also where you will pick up your child at 3:00pm. Please keep this room neat and tidy and be sure to label all of your items.
When you arrive on Saturday morning please check in at the table near the door. We will require your registration payment and post dated cheques before your son/daughter can begin on snow. Nancy Greene athletes will be given a bib. We require a $50.00 deposit which will be returned to you at the end of the season when the bib is handed in.
The raffle tickets will also be there for pick up. The early bird draw is December 15th so make sure and get your tickets picked up and registered online. Also, remember to keep track of any that you have sold (ticket #, name, address, phone #). If you did not purchase raffle tickets with your registration please consider helping the club and Alberta Alpine by doing so. There will be more information available when you check in.
Remember to bring the following:
Hard ear helmet (mandatory)
Skis
Boots
Poles
Jacket
Ski pants
Ski socks and an extra pair
Gloves/mitts and an extra pair
Base layer/sweater
Balaclava
Goggles
Healty lunch and snacks
Water
Hot packs (handy to have in your bag)

We have a microwave and a kettle in the room for your use. If you send your child with money for the cafeteria, please note that there will not be supervision upstairs.
Once the athletes are ready they will promptly head outside to meet the coaches at the bottom of the lift lines. They are expecting you and will be waiting. From there they will do warm ups and proceed with a great day of fun.

Picture Day:
Picture day for all groups will be December 10th.
Dryland:
The last day of dryland will be this Thursday December 1st. The nutrition session is still planned with the date being confirmed shortly.
Mountain Series:
Kinders 1 & 2 and the Nancy Greene Extended are planning to train at Nakiska this Saturday December 3rd. If you do not plan on attending this camp you are welcome to join in with regular taining at Canyon. More details on the camp will follow.
