NSCAA Online Academy
A recognized leader in soccer coaching education throughout the United States, the NSCAA Coaching Academy has taken a major step forward with the introduction of the NSCAA Online Academy, a new Internet-based education program. The program is designed to give volunteer coaches a grasp of the fundamentals of soccer coaching, from a review of the Laws of the Game to the an explanation of the 5 v. 5 teaching model.
The course is available for review at no charge through NSCAA.com. After reviewing all seven sections of the course at their leisure, candidates have the option of paying $10 to take a 20-question test and receive a personalized NSCAA Online Academy Diploma.
The course is the first aspect of a planned series of Internet-based educational initiatives by the NSCAA, designed to supplement the current roster of coaching education courses the association produces each year. Everyone who logs into the course also will have the option to subscribe to The Technical Area, NSCAA’s bi-weekly email newsletter.
