Happy Birthday to Emily Perry!

Saturday evening Revolution took on ODFC Lightning for another hard fought game. Though the 2-6 score reflects a loss, the girls are working together and trying new positions.

Sunday morning United battled against a Division 2 team and lost 7-3.
After watching the second half, we wished there had been a third half…. the girls had their eyes opened to a talented, faster team in the first half and came out fighting in the second. It would have been interesting to see that game go a little longer.

Opening weekend of the Indoor season began with a disappointing lose for Team Revolution. The opponents were determined to score, and while we didn’t go down without a fight, the outcome was less than we were hoping for. Kudos to Amy for that game, even though the score doesn’t reflect it- what an attempt and non-stop determination! We’ll get ’em next time!

Game two went the other way! A 9-2 win for United, led by an outstanding defense- led by Emily S. and Alex! Passes were spot-on, and everyone played well. Girls were looking up field to see where everyone was, and the scoreboard reflected a team truly working together.

It was good for the girls to get back in the swing of things, and we’re looking forward to next weekend’s match-ups.

The indoor schedules are out and the X-Treme ladies have some EARLY mornings on the horizon!

This weekend’s play starts with a Team Revolution game at 6:40 P.M., followed by a United game at 7:30. Hopefully the girls will be able to cheer each other on, on this opening weekend.
