The winner of the 2011 Waldorf Fire Redskins Raffle is….William Murray of La Plata, Maryland!!!!
I’d like to congratulate Bill Murray for winning two tickets to any of the upcoming Redskins home game along with a game parking pass and signed autograph player pictures.
After two months, the team sold over 350 raffle tickets to raise over $2500 in support of the individual soccer players on the Waldorf Fire. I want to thank all those who bought a raffle ticket to support one player or another.

2011 Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament Acceptances Posted!!
The Fire were accepted into this years Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament the second weekend in November. Looking forward to great competition this post season!!
The Waldorf Fire had a great weekend at the 2011 WAGS Rael Vodicka Tournament with a bracket record of two wins and one loss. Coming into the semi-finals they had a tough battle against a solid NVSC Majestics team who eventually went on to win their Division. Good job Fire!!!
The Waldorf Fire opened their season with a nailbiting tie against the St. Mary’s United Panthers. The final score was 3-3. Next weekend will be a rematch of the Pre-Season semi-final at the OBGC Capital Cup as the Fire will take on the SAC United Premier White. Good luck girls!!
