Back on the water 2011

Posted by Rick Hammer at 05:23PM PST (2 Comments)

We are going to start paddling the OC 6 again the first Saturday in March. I appoligize to the gung ho paddlers that wanted to paddle the whole winter. I was unable to paddle because of my shoulder, and then I got that dreaded cold that takes up so much time. If you are interested in restarting, email me so I know how many we will have. Same time as the fall, see you there. Rick

AGM

Posted by Rick Hammer at 05:16PM PST (0 Comments)

Hi all;

The PMPC AGM is being held on March 8th at 7pm at the Pitt Meadows Rec Centre in the Seniors Lounge. It is really important that we get as many people as we can at this meeting as the attendance can adversely affect our Gaming application. Please spread the word amongst the membership you may be in touch with and encourage them to attend…..a short social afterwards is a good opportunity for you to make plans with your crews to start off the season.

I am also attaching the most recent draft of our upcoming programs so you can also begin promoting…….We will be in the spring edition of the PoCo Parks and Rec brochure!

Operation Red Nose

Posted by Rick Hammer at 11:30AM PDT (0 Comments)

This is the third year that PMPC has been involved with ORN. We are trying to get 15 volunteers from our club to work on Dec.10 to help with a fundraiser. If we can get the required number of volunteers PMPC will receive 50% of the evenings donations. There is a link to the ORN information on the PMPC links page. You can access this by clicking the link on your teampage for PMPC and then clicking the link for ORN on the PMPC page. It is important to sign up soon as there is a need to have a criminal record check prior to being accepted as a volunteer. There is no charge for this check. Hope to see you there, contact me if you have any questions 778-899-8879. Thanks, Rick
