Summer Water Polo at Mill Creek Pool
June 2 to 30 Saturdays 10-11am
July 4 to August 29 Wednesdays 9-10pm
$40 for the summer, or $5 drop in. Refs are provided!
These are primarily fun scrimmages.

A quick reminder about the April session that begins tomorrow at 5:00 to 6:30 at Terwillegar.
Mandy says:
We would like to celebrate the water polo season with a big bang. On April 21st at the Kinsmen we have rented the dive tank and massive floatables from 5:00 – 6:30. After that we will have a potluck in a room and enjoy good food and good friends.

6:45 – 8:30 pm food upstairs
Bring your bathing suits, towels, googles, your brothers, sisters, mom, dad, and 1 POTLUCK item.

ITEMS Missing from list: appetizer plate, chips or similar snack, sliced meat and cracker plate. Anyone who still is coming should bring one of those 3 items or a main dish, veggies/ salad, or wraps, I think. Please no more desserts.
You will also be able to preregister for next year, again more information to follow. Jasmine French will be sending this information out.
The board would like to meet with the parents for a short meeting to discuss the past year and the upcoming season with both parents and coaches. This will be a short meeting as parents are welcome to go into the pool as well.
Siblings and parents are welcome to attend.

FYI, online there are updated scores and gamesheets, live videos broadcasts, and a video library of many games in two folders: folder1 and folder2.
Message from Mandy:
I would just like to say thank you to everyone who made the weekend a success. For all the volunteers who set up and tear down, those who helped with the minor officiating, supplying snacks to those volunteering and especially to our athletes and coaches. Our Atom team worked hard and placed 4th in the province, with a 4 and 1 record. Our Bantams Girls went to the final and came out with a silver. Our Bantam Boys joined the Polo Bear team and played very well. Our Cadets Girls went all the way and came out with a gold. Our Youth played two exhibition games and showed a lot of fire and determination, especially playing against the master women.
A big thanks to Coach Fred, Coach Karen and Coach Tim who have spent a lot of time with our kids. There is just a few weeks left and I would encourage all the athletes to continue to attend practices and make an extra effort to be there.
