PUNT, PASS, AND KICK

Schedules & Dates June 26th 2010 12:00pm (Free for kids 12 and under)

Participants will be group by ages. Group 1 (7-9 year olds) Group 2 (10-12 year olds)

Forfeits
If a participant is not there at the beginning of the contest, they will not be placed in the competition.

Equipment
Metal cleats and open-toe shoes are not permitted. Rubber molded cleats may be worn along with athletic shoes.
Footballs will be provided for the contest.
Participants are encouraged not to play in street clothes. Athletic gym is highly recommended.

Start of Game
The order will be selected at random.

Rules of the Game
Each participant will be allowed 3 attempts at each event (throwing, punting and kicking).
Individuals must stay behind the Start line for each event before releasing the ball. If a contestant crosses the line before releasing the ball it will be a fault and they will be given a “0”.
Participants will be required to kick, punt and pass within a designated area on the field.
The distance will be measured from where the ball hits the ground and not from where it stops.

Scoring
The participants best score (total yardage) of their 3 attempts from each event will be their point total from that event.
Their total score will come by adding all three of their event scores.
The contestant with the highest total score will be declared the winner.

Player Conduct
Players are expected to show sportsmanship and respect at all times.

**All participants and children under 12 will be admitted to the football game for free with a paid adult. Snacks and refreshments will be available for all participants.
