I hope everyone is having a fun Spring Break. Just a quick note to remind you that there will NOT be a game or practice this week. Our next game is on April 10th at 1:30 at Dorsey. We will have practice the day before that game- same place, same time.

Angels- Really nice game on Monday against a tough team. The boys are starting to understand the little things, like force plays, that will go a long way towards them becoming well rounded ballplayers.
We will have practice on Friday and then a game on Saturday at 11:30 at AMS (I assume that means American Martyrs). Obviously next week is Spring Break, which means some of you may be heading out of town. Please let me know as soon as possible if you won’t be at the game. I’m hoping we’ll have enough to play.

We have a game tonight at 5:30 at Premier Field. We are the home team which means we have to get the field prepped. If anyone can help with that, please let me know. If you are able to help out with the field, please get there at 5:00. Otherwise, the kids can arrive a little late today- 5:15 is fine. As always, please let me know if you can’t make it.

Outstanding game last Saturday. Coach Colin and I are really impressed with the way the team is coming together.
Practice today at 4:30 at Begg North.
Game tomorrow at 1:30 at Begg South. Please have the boys there at 1:00 and remember to let me know if a player can’t make it.
Something to keep in mind- you’ve probably noticed that in the first inning we have been "batting around" and from then on we’ve been giving the kids several pitches so they have a good shot at hitting the ball. At some point we’ll have to tighten that up a little bit. We’ll still give the kids some extra strikes from time to time but not as many. So, you’ll probably see a few more strike outs from now on, but that’s OK, it’s part of the game.

Great game on Monday! I’m proud of the boys. Some fantastic hitting and some really nice plays in the field. But there is obvioulsy a lot of work to do and things to learn.
Practice today at 4:30 at Begg North and game tomorrow at 3:30, also at Begg North. Please have the kids at the game by 3:00.
