The Deer Creek boy’s squad got off to a great start scoring 42 points in the first half as they ran away from Shawnee on Friday night for a 77-51 win on the road.
Garrett Hermanski lit up the scoreboard for 30 points as the sophomore was lethal from outside, canning five 3-pointers.
“It was really good to see them come out and play with a lot of energy. Hermanski had a good night, but we were pretty balanced. 11 guys scored, we’re playing our best basketball right now. Real well on offense and defense,” Deer Creek head coach Matt Bailey said.
Hayden Wagner finished with 13 points, while Michael Aduddell had nine points.
The Antlers will travel to Ardmore for regionals on Friday where they wil play Lawton Mac.
