Last Friday's early game featuring game 1 between Little Black Bear and Muskowekwan Pride was rained out during the bottom of the 5th inning with Little Black Bear leading 7-2.  This game will be continued on Monday night starting at the point where it was rained out.  After that game is completed game 2 in that series will be played.  At 8:45 tonight game 1 will be played in the Standing Buffalo vs. Pasqua A's series.  Game 2 of this series will be played at 8:45 Tuesday night.  Any game 3's that are needed will be played on Thursday night.  If both series end in 2 games the semi final series will start on Thursday night.

Please note that there is no time limit for games during the playoffs.

The Division 2 playoffs will start tonight with both quarter final series playing their repective game 1's.  Game 2 in those series will be played on Monday.  If a game 3 is necessary in either of the quarter final series it will be played on either Tuesday August 16th or Wednesday August 17th.

Last night the Gold beat the Canadians which means that the last regular season game, Chetty's vs. Bulyea has major playoff implications.  Bulyea is locked in at top spot, but Chetty's can finish as high as 4th with a win.  With a loss Chetty's would remain tied for 6th with the Gold and have to play a 1 game tiebreaker with the winner qualifying for the playoffs.  This game can not be played until Chetty's returns from ISC's.  Look for this game to be played Aug. 22 or 23.

With only a couple weeks left in the regular season here is a reminder of the playoff format for both Division 1 and Division 2.

• Top 6 teams make the playoffs
• Top 2 teams get 1st round bye
• Quarter Final - 3rd vs. 6th
• Quarter Final - 4th vs. 5th
• Semi Final - 1st in Division vs. lowest ranking quarter final winning team
• Semi Final - 2nd in Division vs. highest ranking quarter final winning team
• Final

All series will be best of 3

Last place team in regular season of Division 1 will move down to Division 2 for the 2017 season.

Division 2 champion will move up to Division 1 for the 2017 season.
